LISA SPOONER received her Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from Texas A&M University. She began her career in television at a station in the Houston area. From there, she moved to CBS 19 Eyewitness News in Tyler, Texas where she began anchoring their Primetime at 5, 6, 6:30 and 10pm newscasts. After several years working the evening shift, she decided to give the morning show a whirl. It was then she discovered that waking people up every morning fits her outgoing personality and is what she does best. Most recently, Lisa anchored the morning show, Fox 4 Rising, for WFTX-TV in Ft. Myers, Florida.
Lisa is no stranger to national television. In 2002, Lisa won the title of Miss Texas and competed that fall at the Miss America Pageant in Atlantic City. During the nationally televised pageant, Lisa won an interview award and was named as a Top Ten Finalist.
